The Salagon Museum presents its new exhibition.

Description

The collection of canvases presented by Yves Zurstrassen for this exhibition in the church of Salagon is conceived as a dialogue, both with the Romanesque architecture and with the stained glass windows created by Aurélie Nemours in 1998. After immersing himself in the place for a long time, the painter chose to summon forms and rhythms that make the color dance in his paintings, repeating their sequences, varying their arrangements and formats to evoke a light and a sensation different but complementary to those emanating from Nemours' stained glass windows.

Exhibition on view until December 14, 2026.
Opening on Saturday, February 7th at 11am. Saxophonist Raphaël Imbert will offer a musical moment echoing the works of Yves Zurstrassen.
