The play, in five acts, recounts the life of Cyrano de Bergerac, a tragic and endearing hero whose brilliance of wit and swordsmanship is matched only by the length of his nose.

Description
Cyrano, whose unsightly appendage prevents him from confessing his love to Roxane, finds his double in Christian, who is also in love with the beautiful Roxane. While Christian is pleasing to the eye, he lacks wit to the point of being paralyzed. Cyrano proposes that Christian be his words to seduce Roxane: he will be beauty, and Cyrano will be wit.
