The Valsaintes Abbey Garden and the Jas de l'Agachet have joined forces to offer you a gourmet day in Provence.
The day begins at Jas de l'Agachet
Winegrowers in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Mayra and Aristide cultivate vines, olive trees, truffle trees and cereals in a wild and unspoiled high-altitude landscape.
Discover the viticulture of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region during a stroll through an organic mixed farm. Ancient vine varieties, century-old olive trees, and truffle oaks will give you a glimpse of these different ancestral crops. After a short tour of the cellar, you'll taste the estate's wine and olive oil.
You will be welcomed by the winegrowers themselves who will be your guides during the walk.
Afterward, enjoy a meal at the Valsaintes Abbey Garden Restaurant. A seasonal menu will be offered by Chef Thomas Prat, Master Restaurateur.
After this delicious meal, you can, if you wish, take a guided tour of the remarkable garden of Valsaintes Abbey.
