Slim est musicien et vit à Marseille. Son quotidien est traversé d’anecdotes à peine croyables, son univers intérieur à la fois drôle et inquiétant. Il nous parle du boulot, du voisinage, du Vieux-Port, des petites galères ordinaires et puis, un ancêtre débarque dans la conversation, un immeuble décide de s’enfoncer dans la terre, et tout le monde trouve ça presque normal.

Accompanied by musician Wim Welker, Lamine Diagne tells Slim's story through music. Traditional instruments from West Africa and Eastern Europe, strings and rhythms transport us without a passport. Stories become songs, songs become shared memories. Between Marseille and Senegal, between laughter and wisdom, Slim reminds us of something essential: our inner worlds are unsuspected treasures.
