The stylish musicians of CUMBIA BOOM BOX will keep the dance floor heating up all night long: a 100% female project that delivers a powerful sound in an electric and eclectic cumbia universe.
Description
CUMBIA BOOM BOX is a female music group based in Poitiers which was formed in 2024 from the meeting between the singer of Collectif La Saugrenue and four musicians from the group Las Gabachas.
Their musical aesthetic is geared towards Cumbia (music from Colombia) and electronic sounds.
The group draws inspiration from traditional South American music and current and electric music, and offers original compositions.
Thus, through the mix of styles, the respective influences of each of the musicians, their immersion in the traditional repertoire, this new project is a real fusion between cumbia music and electronic music, and offers a strong image of a female team on stage.
A musical knockout for this project whose main objective is to share cumbia music and the pleasure of dancing.
