Medieval castle of Simiane-la-Rotonde

All summer long at Simiane Castle
• Open every day in July and August, from 10:00 am to 18:30 pm.

Ateliers de distillation (inclus dans le billet d'entrée du château)
Every Friday in July and August, distillation workshops are offered in the castle courtyard at 14:30 p.m. and 16:00 p.m.
The first workshop will take place on Friday, July 3rd.

The Château Happy Hours, which will take place every Thursday in July at 19:00 p.m., on July 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2026.
On the program: live concerts, a friendly atmosphere in the castle courtyard, drinks (soft drinks and wine) and spreads for sale, while the castle and its shop will exceptionally remain open in the evening.

Equipped with a tablet, travel back in time and explore the castle through an immersive 3D reconstruction as it was in the 14th century. Explore its rooms and spaces as they did back then and imagine life at the heart of this medieval fortress.

✨ The Gourmet Trail: a route that reflects our commitment to promoting local heritage and sustainable tourism. This route is designed for groups of 10 people or more and is self-guided, using private vehicles, bicycles, or buses.

Reminder: We do not offer SENIOR rates and are part of the Passeport des Musées 04 network: 37 tourist sites in the 04 Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
The passport is free, 1 passport is for 2 adults and must be stamped at the last site visited to obtain a reduced rate or free entry.

*People with reduced mobility:
The tour of the castle and its various rooms includes three staircases, each corresponding to a floor. Access to the Rotunda, located on the first floor of the keep, is also subject to these restrictions.
Due to its layout, the castle cannot accommodate all people with reduced mobility. People using motorized wheelchairs cannot access the interior of the buildings. Other visitors with reduced mobility may be accommodated provided they are accompanied by their caregivers, who assume full responsibility for them.

Le Haut village de Simiane-la-Rotonde est haut perché !

We recommend that people who have difficulty accessing the summit park their vehicles in the Rotonde car park or the Place de la Combe car park.
