For 30 years, Colmars has hosted a legendary festival that revives the spirit of the Middle Ages. Step through the city gates and immerse yourself in a world of splendor and wonder. Stilt walkers, musicians, acrobats, and numerous free shows await.
Description
The medieval town of Colmars-les-Alpes, a former border town between Savoy and Provence, profoundly marked by Vauban's talented hand, has been transformed for the past 30 years into a festive, vibrant, and colorful bastion. Dozens of artists and hundreds of extras draw visitors into the corridors of time.
Around an exceptional medieval market, constantly renewed troops and companies take turns at a sustained pace punctuated by battles, shows and promenades where quality and free admission remain the key word!
