This Entreval tradition of the procession to the Saint John the Baptist chapel has endured through the centuries, its form unchanged, thanks to a confraternity dedicated to its organization and devoted to Saint John the Baptist. The Confraternity of Saint John the Baptist is thus responsible for transporting the reliquary bust of Saint John the Baptist, ensuring its safekeeping and paying homage to it throughout the procession, accompanied by an enthusiastic crowd.
